Average success rates to funding programmes managed by bodies such as Innovate UK can be as low as 3%, with applications often requiring a score of over 85% in order to secure funding. Smart Grants, which is Innovate UK’s flagship competition that is open to all sectors and technologies, is no exception.
As a company that submits over 120 Innovate UK applications per year, with an average 2021 success rate of 63%, PNO Consultants will explain what Smart Grants are for in more detail, share our thoughts on recent changes with the launch of the new programme, and provide our recommended approach including hints and tips on how to prepare a compelling bid in order to increase your chances of success.
