The SYSCHEMIQ consortium partners, jointly with the EU Project Officer and the EU Programme Officer from the Circular Regions and Cities Initiative, are currently attending the project kick-off meeting hosted by the Brightlands Chemelot Campus.
In this project, PNO successfully supported the proposal preparation and will also manage the 4-years project coordination, stakeholder mapping, exploitation and replication & take-up of the project results.
The expected outcomes are:
- methodologies to set-up and manage multistakeholder Circular Hubs
- new Value Chain alignment to improve plastics (packaging) recycling
- demonstrating first-of-a-kind commercial scale chemical plastic recycling plant in the tri-lateral Chemical region of the Netherlands, Flanders and North-Rhine West Phalia
